PostSubject: It Gets Better   It Gets Better I_icon_minitimeThu Oct 11, 2012 8:49 pm

The last few days had been rough on the young vampire, if only because every move she made brought about extreme pain. While the injuries from the hellhound had healed, now the vampire was stuck with the fact that her back was no longer intact. To make matters worse, the home in which the vampire was supposed to call, was torn to bits and was in need of several repairs so Anka had to be moved to a hotel. That was the move painful experience of her life because she could feel every bump in the road.

When they had finally settled down into the room, Anka about had enough, she didn't want anyone touching her or near her she wanted to be left alone. If it wasn't for the fact that it hurt to move she would have been throwing things at people again to leave her alone. She wanted nothing to do with anyone, and even found being around Eliza difficult, because Anka was right back in that state of mind where people walking were the enemy.

Little did Anka know that Eliza was trying to bring the nurse from the school the young vampire would be attending, over to take a look at her.

--------------

It had taken a few days to get arranged, but Kristine finally managed to find some time to come and visit Eliza at the hotel to get a better understanding of what the redhead would be doing. With all the injuries that had come in because of the hell hounds, Kristine had needed time to get her magical abilities back up to par, which wasn't easy with her phone ringing off the hook. Add in the fact that most other vampires saw her as a freak, that stopped her from really leaving the school but she wasn't given much of a choice with this one. A threat had been made to go all the way to the dean which caused Kristine to cave.

She walked into the hotel and brushed some of her hair out of her face as she walked up to the counter. "Yes, I'm here to see Ms. Romanov." she spoke and reached into her [Only admins are allowed to see this link] and pulled out her ID when the clerk at the desk asked for it. Kristine was then given the room number and gave a soft smile and made her way over to the elevator and pressed the button that would lead to Eliza's floor.

Once she got there, Kristine took in an unneeded breath and walked over to the door. Her hand came up and lightly knocked on the door. She was not looking forward to this in the slightest but here she was, if only because the girl she was tending to was going to be attending the school.

[Only admins are allowed to see this image]Her house was in shambles, many of the antiques within were destroyed beyond repair, she had missed four days of work and hadn't eaten anything in the last two. Anka was in constant pain so much so that Eliza hadn't come in to check on her in a few hours. The older vampire could tell by the look in Anka's eyes that she was bitter. Who wouldn't be? One thing happened right after the other and because of it she was in constant pain and there was nothing for Eliza to do. She had summoned the science experiment to the hotel where she was staying. Eliza had heard nothing but good things about this woman so she better live up to the hype about her.

Elizabetia sat in her room at her desk, her black pen writing away in her journal as she waited for Niles to announce the woman we here. The sooner the better in Eliza's opinion. The woman could fix Anka and then leave. In all honesty, Eliza didn't know what irked her the most about Kristine. She was a nice girl, and very attractive, a hard worker and a powerful person. Perhaps it was the fact that she turned herself into a vampire. She had broken the laws of vampirism and perhaps that was what bothered her the most. To be a vampire you needed a sire, someone who could help you adjust to the life you now had. But Kristine had no one, just herself. No connection to anything. It made Elizabetia nervous, and the elder vampire was not a fan of being nervous.

Niles, the older vampire butler went about cleaning the already spotless hotel room. He didn't like to sit still for long periods of time it made him antsy. A soft knock came to the door. Gracefully stepping front of it, she pulled the door open and stared down at the little red haired vampire in front of him. "Miss Kristine Kochanski I presume?" stepping to the side he allowed Kristine into the hotel room and shut the door behind her. "I shall go retrieve my Mistress." Bowing slightly at the waist he excused himself and told Elizabetia that Kristine had arrived.

Stepping out of her room, Eliza did her best not to glare at Kristine. "This way." she said nonchalantly leading her to Anka's room. "She's in pain...and a bit grouchy."

Kristine was a little taken back when a man answered the door and spoke in such a formal manner. It had been a really long time since she had been around anything like that and didn't know those things still existed. "Y...y...yes." She gave a nervous smile as she spoke, this was not anything she was prepared for that was for sure. Still the redhead walked into the hotel suite and looked around, she wondered how anyone could afford to stay in such a place, Kristine could barely afford cable.

When the man excused himself to go get his mistress, Kristine blinked a few times if only because it was just so strange to hear things like that in this day in age but managed to nod. It didn't seem to take long, or Kristine just got lost in her thoughts, but Eliza had soon come out of.....wherever.... and spoke to her. It was already clear to the redhead that Eliza wasn't exactly happy about the redhead's presence, but was putting up with it. Call it a sixth sense but Kristine could just tell that other vampires didn't like her. "I understand, pain does that." Kristine replied in a meek almost shy manner as she was brought to the vampire's room.

"I...I should le...let you know th...that I ma..may not be able to fix it perfectly." She was a bit nervous to say that because, well based off the phone calls Eliza was the sort that didn't like things done half way. Still, Kristine would rather tell the truth up front, she would do what she could about the pain but a good deal of it would be up to Anka and her willingness to get on her feet again. "She'll still need physical therapy, a lot of it." Kristine added to make it clear that she wasn't here to work a miracle if anything it was just repairing some of the back so that the pain was gone for the most part.

When it came to it, the other vampire... well walking in that room seemed like a big mistake as well.

Anka had come to the decision that if she was going to be in pain that there mine as well be a reason, so when the Eliza had brought the stranger into the hotel room, Anka wasted no time throwing a cup at the woman. The young vampire didn't want anyone to see her like this, or be around her for that matter. "Get out!." She screamed, and then grabbed hold of her back before turning her face into her pillow.

Luckily Kristine had the good sense to duck so the glass didn't hit her, but caused her to give a nervous laugh. This was going..... going to be interested.

[Only admins are allowed to see this image]

[Only admins are allowed to see this image]Several maids had asked not to serve Anka for her temper and outbursts. Most of Eliza's staff were human and feared for their lives around young vampires. So, Niles was the only one who was brave enough to go into Anka's room and take care of things. He wasn't going to let some snot nose baby vampire ruin his job. Eliza had stayed out of her room as well. For while she understood where her anger came from, she was not one to take disrespected lightly and was more often than not ready to tear Anka a new asshole for behaving like a child.

Kristine was a cute girl and where it not for the fact that she broke many of natures laws by being a vampire without a sire, Elizabetia would probably have been friends with her. But there are certain things that you can't over look in the vampire law no matter how cute or sweet someone is. Eliza grasped the handle of the door and turned it softly, her dark eyes landing on her fledgling on her bed. Kristine's words stopped Elizabetia in her tracks, turning sharply on her heel she stood between her and the door. "Let me make on thing PERFECTLY clear to you. If this goes wrong and you hurt her more than she is already I will rip your head from your shoulders and send it to Evelyn in a hand basket. Do I make myself...PERFECTLY clear?""

Eliza was very protective over those in her charge, especially her fledglings. Unless Kristine had fledglings of her own it was doubtful she would ever know the connection that Eliza was feeling. Sire's and fledglings all held a strong connection, it was how one would know if their fledgling was in danger, wounded, hungry. It was also how they kept their fledglings in line. But, whenever a fledgling died, the sire feels a great sense of loss. Like part of the soul is being ripped apart. Because in essence a fledgling is like a sire's child. And no parent should have to feel that pain.

Turning Eliza lead Kristine into the bedroom and instantly felt Anka's anger. As soon as the young vampire caught sight of Eliza and Kristine she grew angrier. She even dared to throw a cup at them. Eliza easily caught the glass before it hit Kristine and glared at her fledgling. Slamming the glass down on the night stand she stood beside Anka's bed and glared down at her. Though she was in pain Eliza would not have someone disrespect her or her guest. "How dare you!" she bellowed narrowing her eyes at her fledgling. "I will not have someone in my house acting like a spoiled child. I brought Kristine here to help you and this is how you react?!"

Eliza was tempted to turn Anka over and force her to apologize but that would probably only cause her more pain. "Perhaps I should leave you in here to suffer in your pain. The way you've been acting doesn't deserve any help." walking back over to Kristine she grabbed the girls arm and lead to towards the door.

If Kristine wasn't nervous enough about being, that speech that Eliza gave her sure as hell, helped seal the deal on her nerves being shot. Kristine gave a nod with a slight gulp but her eyes screamed how terrified at this point. Great, now not only did Kristine have to worry about making a good impression, but now she had to do it terrified, thank god she was used to pressure. "I...I...." She stopped even trying to speak, at that point and settled for nodding, because she could do that.

What happened next surprised the redhead, if only because she had been called all the way out here and was now witnessing the young vampire she was supposed to be here healing having some sort of break down from pain. It was hard to see really, and it made the redhead want to help the girl even more but wasn't really given that option as Eliza grabbed her by the arm and proceeded to pull her out of the room.

Anka didn't even need to see the look upon her sire's face to know that the woman was less then pleased by her action. As a matter of fact the fledgling tensed up just at the woman's words, and tried to prepare herself for Eliza to move her, but that didn't happen. What happened next was the sound of foot steps leaving and the young vampire's heart dropped. She hadn't meant to disrespect anyone, she was just in pain, that was all.

"Wait! please!" The young vampire pleaded in pain as she turned, that turn caused a surge of pain to course through her and she let out a growl of pain. To make matters worse she hand been close to the edge of the bed so the sudden painful movement caused her to fall out of the bed. She hit the ground in a painful thud and cried out in pain. The young thing was now shaking in pain at this point, and wanted to say she was sorry but the pain she felt made it to hard for her to speak at that point, but mixed with the pain was a whole lot of regret that washed through the vampire.

[Only admins are allowed to see this image]Elizabetia turned and looked back at her fledgling effortlessly dropping Kristine's arm. Walking slowly back over to her fledgling she stared down at her with cold eyes. Elizabetia did not, not now, nor ever, tollerate disrespect from anyone. Especially her fledglings. She was lady, a leader, a woman born into nobility. She was use to respect and she would have the respect she deserved. Lowering herself down by Anka she moved Anka's hair from her face.

"I could leave you here...on the floor to writh in pain." she looked over to Kristine and pointed at her. "I went through a lot of trouble to get Kristine here and you are going to apologize to her and later once she heals you you will apologize to me." Though she wanted to yank the girl off the floor and toss her into the bed she resisted and instead slipped her arms under Anka's frail body and lifted her slowly before placing her gently on the bed.

Motioning for Kristine she stood back at the foot of the bed with her arms tucked tightly under her breasts. Her eyes never left Anka with their icy gaze. She would have to teach the girl manners it would seem. Evenif one was in pain you never took it out on people who were only trying to help and she would be damned if she would have Anka talk to her that way. She was the girls sire and would be respected as such.

Kristine gasped as she saw the girl fall out of the bed and cry in pain. Things like that just shook the vampire to the very core and made her feel sorry for the young vampire. It could not have been easy to be in that sort of pain as a vampire, after all they were supposed to have some of the more powerful forms of healing and yet this poor thing had been in pain for days. Kristine instantly felt horrible for not being able to make it here sooner but at least she was there now.

To see Anka on the floor crying as she looked to her sire was heart breaking for the redhead but she didn't interfere.

Anka looked to Eliza with shame and pain as the hair was brushed from her face. This wasn't who the young vampire was, she was never purposely mean to people. It was also not who Anka wanted to be, but the pain made it hard for her to control herself, but seeing that look in Eliza's eyes made the vampire almost cower. "Y..Yes Ma'am" She spoke in a much softer tone that showed she knew her she had done something wrong.

As she was picked up, Anka couldn't help the painful growl that came from her lips. That feral vampire that could be showing a hint of itself but the growl was gone by time Eliza had let her go. At that point tears were just flowing from the young vampire's eyes as she laid there in pain. "I'm...I'm... sorry Kristine... I.. I don't.. I don't know what came over me." She spoke in an apologetic painful tone.

Kristine being the soft hearted person she was just gave the young vampire a smile. "It's okay, I understand. We will get you all fixed up though, make this pain go away." The redhead spoke as she came over to the bed and carefully sat down as not to cause the blonde anymore pain then she was already in.

"This may hurt a little at first but I promise that it wont last long." Kristine reassured the vampire as she leaned forward and tuck some of the blonde's hair behind her ears "Just close your eyes." Kristine spoke in a caring manner as she took hold of Anka's hand and let her magic do it's work.

As she was using her magic, Kristine noticed something a bit off about the young vampire. It was almost as if... as if Anka's body was sort of fighting it. She raised a brow as she kept her attention on the girl who had made grimace face at first, but now it looked like she was finally getting some peace as Kristine's magic mended her back up more.

It didn't take long before Kristine had done all she could and she let the girl's hand go. "You get some rest, it should be easier now." Kristine gave a smile and stood up. "When you have a moment, we need to talk." She spoke to Eliza in a slightly concerned manner before excusing herself out of the room, figuring that Anka and Eliza needed a moment.

Anka's shoulders and head dropped as she looked to her sire. The pain was gone, for the first time in a long time, but she knew that what she had done was wrong. "I'm truly sorry Eliza, I didn't mean to behave like a brat." She spoke in a sincerely manner. Anka was truly remorseful at this point, and didn't know what she could do to make things right but she'd try and make up for her rude behavior.

[Only admins are allowed to see this image]Eliza watched with a cautious eye as the vampire worked on her fledgling. Eliza wanted to be gentle to Anka but she needed to learn that things like that would never be tolerated by Eliza. If Anka wanted to stay in her house she would act like the lady she would be trained to be. There was no way she would allow such things to go unpunished. She was lucky she was already in so much pain, Eliza was known as a strict teacher in the way of becoming a lady. And she wouldn't go easy on her fledgling.

Eliza supressed a warning growl rumbled in her chest. She knew that Kristine was only trying to help but she didn't like seeing Anka in pain even if she deserved a little of it for acting like a brat. But after a few moments Anka began to relax and finally Kristine released the girls hands and turned back to her. Instantly Eliza knew something was wrong. Call it a sixth sense. She had a way of knowing when there was bad news and if there was one thing Eliza hated it was bad news. Especially when it came to people she cared about.

Eliza turned to leave when Anka's voice drifted to her ears. Looking over her shoulder at the young girl Eliza let out a defeated sigh and let her shoulders sag. "I will teach you to control yourself. For now...rest we shall speak once you've awoken." Elizabetia followed Kristine from the room and shut it softly before motioning for the red head to follow her into her room. "Speak Kristine, something isn't right is it?" Elizabetia had a hunch about it when she turned Anka. Something wasn't right in their connection though she couldn't place it.

Becoming a vampire was supposed to cure everything, or that was the myth anyways. Sure, Kristine wasn't one who could talk she wasn't sired, but she was a vampire, and even when she had changed herself her powers didn't go away, but she could still not change herself back. Seeing that being changed didn't save Anka from the pain of her back, made Kristine thankful she never got the chance to sire her sister. So, in that sense Kristine felt for the young girl laying on the bed, everything that was supposed to be going away would forever be a problem and that would be hard for anyone.

Anka had given her sire a soft nod as she was told to get some rest. The last thing she wanted to do was upset Eliza even more so she simply rolled over and curled into the pillow as she cried softly until sleep took over.

Kristine on the other hand was nervous about what needed to be said, how could she tell this woman that a key part of being a vampire was missing in her fledgling? The redhead followed Eliza into another room, her hands nervously picking at one another as she spoke. "She.... she can't heal." Kristine spoke softly almost afraid of the words that came from her lips. "It was strange, while I was mending her back, it kept fighting me, it wanted to go back to the way she was when she was changed. I tried altering her blood, but I couldn't, there is something different about her." There was something different about Kristine too, but this, this was unlike anything Kristine had ever seen before and she had come in contact with a lot of vampires.

"Her blood, her body, it doesn't require human blood... like..." She paused because she was about to say like herself and Eliza but decided against that. "well like you do, it ... it needs vampire blood." She finished explaining and it was astonishing to the vampire, because it was just so odd. "I mean, she can feed off human blood, it will keep her alive, but in order to heal she will need to drink from a vampire." She finished explaining as she slipped her hands into her pockets.

"I can work on a potion, but to be honest, I don't think there is anything that will change the way her body heals, I mean not even my power would change it." If anything Kristine wanted Eliza to know she would do anything in her power to help the young vampire but for now, there was little Kristine could do aside from tinker on the witch side of things.

[Only admins are allowed to see this image]Kristine's constant scent of fear was giving Eliza a headache. Taking her seat behind her desk she resisted the urge to smash something. "For goodness sakes girl, stand up straight and stop fiddling with your hands." Eliza was a bit more snappish then she normally was mainly due to the slow pounding at her temples. Taking in a few steady breaths she lifted her hand slowly signalling that she was sorry for her outburst. Sometimes she forgot that people were not raised as she was. Clearing her throat she straightened up slightly. "I'm sorry, please...explain what is ailing my fledgling."

Elizabetia had had a few sincerios going on in her head but nothing like what Kristine said. Pushing herself out of her chair she stood up placed her hands firmly on her desk and leaned over slightly her dark eyes glaring deep into Kristines. "What do you mean she can't be healed?" she hissed through her teeth the wood of her desk cracking loudly under the pressure of her hands. "What good are you if you can not do what is asked of you?" With a forceful shove the vampire pushed her desk half way across the room until it crashed into the wall across from her.

Niles hurried into the room and looked at his mistress and the witch/vampire before bowing his head slightly and leaving. He knew better than to come between his mistress and the person of her anger it was more dangerous for him.

Eliza closed her eyes and balled her fist tightly. It just never ends, her life had turned to shit in the last few days and this was not helping at all. In fact she was near breaking point. Elizabetia hardly ever got angry but when she did it wasn't good for anyone. "Vampire blood?" Eliza's lip twitched angrily, who had ever heard of a vampire drinking from another vampire except in moments of dangerous. Grabbing the door handle she yanked the door open and look at Kristine. "I thank you for your services but if you can do nothing else it would be best to leave now. I will take care of my fledgling. Tell your Dean that everything has been settled."

Kristine felt her back go stiff and straighten up as Eliza snipped at her, even the redhead's hands stopped fidgeting. This had been something that Kristine had worried about when coming here, and surely she thought the woman was going to attack her or something especially when the desk went flying across the room.

A panic filled her chest as she took a cautious step back "I...I...I..I he..hea...healed her back...it...it..its just no...not going to... to.. stay that way wit...without vampire blood." She spoke in a nervous manner, and of course she was stammering over her words, Eliza scared the redheaded vampire to the core, much like Evelyn did.

"Okay." She spoke, the redheaded vampire wasted no time in stepping out of the room. She stopped for a moment to look at the woman and wish her a good evening but just gave a meek little wave and decided it was best to just get out of there now before Eliza changed her mind.

Damn it! Why did Kristine always have to be the bearer of bad news? This was why she hated leaving the school because at least there, Kristine knew that she had some protection.

Kristine saw herself out and didn't even waste time waiting for the elevator, nope Kristine hauled ass down the stairs, just in case Eliza decided to change her mind or something worse.

Anka had managed to fall asleep but the moment a large thud was heard against her wall she woke up instantly. If she had a heart beat it would have been racing at that point because she wasn't sure what that sound was. "Eliza?" She called out, her voice much calmer then it had been in days.

She sat up and without even realizing it had managed to move her legs on her own without having to use her hands. Hell the girl even stood up for a brief moment before the weight of her body caused her legs to give way and she fell. This brought about a whole new kind of joyess panic in the girl. "I...I stood up." She spoke to herself, as she pushed herself off the floor.

"Eliza!" She called out again, really just trying to get anyone's attention at this point as she straightened out her legs, though this time she did need a little help from her hands.

The blonde looked down at her toes, as she noticed the pain in her back was gone too. "Come on." She spoke to herself as she willed her toes to move. She bit down on her lip and within moment the big toes on her feet started moving. "Eliza come quick!" Her voice held so much excitement that time as she kept looking at her wiggling toes.

[Only admins are allowed to see this image]Eliza placed her hand on her head and sighed heavily. How was she suppose to explain to Anka that she was only partially healed? That for the rest of eternity she was going to have to drink from vampires in order to stay healed? She had made her a promise, and if it was one thing Eliza always kept, it was her promises but this was promise that was completely out of her hands. Niles knocked softly on the door, bringing Eliza out of he thoughts. The older butler sat down a tray on the table and poured Eliza a cup of steaming tea.

If it was one thing Niles knew, it was how much Eliza cared about her fledglings. Sometimes he often wondered if it was to try and make up for the child she lost when she was humans. Fledglings were the closest thing to children vampires ever had and over the years Eliza had made a few that held a special place in her heart, like Anka. Handing the small cup to his Mistress Niles gave her a reassuring smile. "It will be alright Mistress...things will work out. They always do." Eliza sighed and nodded her head slowly at he butler. He had always been there for her when she needed him; he always knew what to say.

Just as Eliza brought the cup to her lips Anka's voice reached her ears. Setting the cup down she hurried out of her room and into Anka's. She was on the floor but she was moving her legs and toes. Well...it looked as if the little science experiement did something right this time. Slowly walking over to her fledgling she gave her her hand and helped her off the floor before setting her down on the bed. Elizabetia forced a smile on her lips, she was truly happy for her fledgling but at the same time she didn't want to deliver such bad news. "Kristine managed to heal your back...however...there is a downside to it." Pulling a chair from the corner of the room she took a seat across from Anka and crossed her legs. "You will need a lot of physical therapy and..." pursing her lips slightly she looked down at her lap and sighed. "You'll have to drink vampire's blood to keep your back from reverting to it's deteriered state. You can drink human blood to survive but it wont help with your healing."

Anka was simply beaming at this point, she was beyond happy that her toes moved, that her legs moved. She still couldn't feel them but they moved! When Eliza came into the room, Anka pointed down to her legs "Look! they move!" Anka's voice even sounded like it was smiling at that point and she was proud, if anything just to move her legs. Though as the blonde looked up and saw her sire standing there, the smile, well it left the girl's face because Eliza seemed troubled.

'Oh right.' Anka thought to herself, she was still in trouble for having lashed out over the last couple of days. So when Eliza helped her up, Anka didn't try and fight it as she figured that she was in for a lecture after what she had done... but it didn't come. Instead it was news about her back, and Anka didn't know why Eliza seemed so upset it was healed... sure there was a loop hole but it was healed that was a good thing right?

"So? I mean.... don't you have to drink blood to heal?" Anka asked because she didn't really know how that whole thing worked just yet. Still, if drinking blood was all that Anka needed to do to keep her back healed it would be okay, she'd get used to the taste eventually.

"Don't be sad Eliza, be happy.... please? I'm not worried, whatever I have to do, I'll do it. I promise I'll be good." She added, because right now Anka really couldn't be sad, this was what had been promised to her, that her back would get better and it did. "You did what you promised." She spoke before she bit her lip softly, she didn't understand completely that this wasn't a lifetime fix but just for this moment she wanted to be happy about this.

[Only admins are allowed to see this image]Eliza nodded her head as she watched her fledgling happily move her toes around. It was, of course, a happy moment. Ever since the accident Anka had been in pain and now she was able to move her toes and legs. But, the young vampire just couldn't grasp the fact that she would have to constantly drink vampire blood to keep her back from reverting back and becoming paralyzed again. But, Eliza would explain that later. For now she would force herself to be happy for her fledgling.

"Vampire blood, is stronger than human blood. Normal vampires drink human blood to stay strong, to heal, to exist. We drink other vampire's blood to create bonds, friendship, blood ties. But, it also heals faster than human blood but we can't live off of vampire blood." Running her fingers through her hair she sighed. "So, you'll need human blood to survive and vampire blood to heal." For now, Eliza would give Anka her blood. It would keep her connected as well as allowed Eliza to keep track of her. Later on she'd allow her to drink from other vampires but for now she would stick with her.

Forcing her smile again she nodded and patted Anka's leg softly. "I am happy Anka. Very happy." Her fledgling could walk again, and she could begin training her as she did all her other fledglings. She would go to Aeternitas University with other students and get her education. Make friends, make enemies. Have a semi-normal life. It was what she deserved. "You need rest...tomorrow we shall start your physical therapy as well as enroll you into Aeternitas. I don't want you walking around all night. You'll only overexhert yourself." Standing she pressed a kiss to Anka's hair and gave her a hug. "Everything will be fine now."

Pulling away she headed to the door and looked back at Anka. No she hadnt' done what she promised but she would spend the rest of her life trying to find a way to fully fix the problem. "Good night little one." she said softly flicking off Anka's lights and exiting the room.

Anka was starting to understand why Eliza was not happy about what had been 'fixed' but the young girl still had hope. Sure, it meant that she would have to get used to drinking blood, something the girl could barely tolerate but she was still new to this. She didn't know what to say really, so she gave a simple nod to say that she understood. For now Anka knew that she would just have trust Eliza and do as she was told and thing should be fine... right?

"Okay." She offered her sire a smile, though the thought of going to school wasn't all that pleasing, but she'd do it. She just hoped that when she went to school that she would be walking and not in a chair, that would make her happy, but she wasn't sure how all that would work now. Still, Anka had hope and she tried to just stay positive about everything.

The blonde returned the hug that was given to her and nodded, it was best not to try and walk again without help if only because standing hadn't been all that successful. "I know it will, because I have you." she spoke in the hug. Anka trusted Eliza, and knew that as long as the elder vampire was around that the young vampire would be okay.

Anka laid herself down on the bed after the hug and used her hands to assist if only because she still couldn't feel them but that was okay, things would come back in time, Anka was sure of it. Pulling the covers over her body she settled in "Good night Eliza." She replied and curled into the pillow and closed her eyes so that sleep could take her over.
