Once Upon A Nightmare

[Only admins are allowed to see this image]This was wrong, so very very wrong! Just who the hell did this old man think he was anyway? How could he control the stupid book! Eliza angrily ran her fingers through her hair, effectively pulling it out of it's elegant updo. "Well then go sleep with them! Because there is no way come hell or high water that I'm sleeping with you." Okay, that may have come out a little harsh, but she was under a lot of stress at this moment. Having spent the worst two days of her life in this stupid fairy tale only to find out that she had to sleep with Gauge to leave.

She had tore most of the library apart tossing many of the books down on the floor. She had found nothing, nothing at all. No portal, no secret entrance to some magical room nothing. Letting out a frustrated yell she stepped away from the bookshelf and growled. Grabbing the end of the shelf she pulled it down causing it to fall to the floor and crash loudly. Why couldn't she have her damn powers?! It would make it so much easier to release some of this tension.

Elizabetia picked up anything she could fine, vases, crystals, paintings and started throwing them against the wall until they shattered into a billion tiny pieces. Sitting down on nearest chair she held her head in her hands and growled. This was stupid! It would seem she just couldn't ever catch a break.

[Only admins are allowed to see this image]Eliza had taken off her glass shoes and placed them down on the table next to her. Fairy tales were suppose to make you happy and cheerful. But living in one was tiring and very disappointing. Especially when they were controlled by a crazy old man who wanted you to sleep together. Slowly she removed the jewels from around her neck and ears and gently released the rest of her hair from the many twists and pins on her head.

She was about ready to lay back on the couch when she heard a loud thud outside of the library. Curiously she stood up and walked to the door where she found Gauge at the bottom of the stairs. "Oh my God! Gauge! What happened?" She quickly knelt down beside him and rolled him over. How did he fall down the stairs? Was he alive? Lowering her head to his chest she listened for a heart beat which was was oddly humorous seeing as how most of the time they didn't have any. "Gauge...are you okay?" she asked placing his head in her lap. What was she going to do? It's not like they had hospitals in fairy tales.

[Only admins are allowed to see this image]Eliza looked down at Gauge in worry. Hopefully that fall wouldn't kill him, after all they were human in this story. Things like that often lead to broken necks or brain hemorrhages. But soon he came too and Eliza let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. "Have a nice little chat with our old friend?" she said sarcastically looking around to see if he was still lingering around.

"You need to lie down, you took a very big tumble and you might have hurt something." Standing she took hold of his hands and gently pulled him to his feet and brought him into the partially destroyed library. Setting him down gently on the couch she walked over to the refreshment table along the wall and poured him a glass of water. Dipping her handkerchief in the water as well she brought it over to him and placed the damp rag on his head. "How in the world did you manage to fall down the stairs?" she asked setting down beside him and gently rubbed the rag along his head.
